On December 10, 2017, shortly before 7 PM, four black males, heavily armed entered the S&W Grocery & Deli on Simpson Highway 28 West in Pinola, MS. At least one of the gunmen held the store owner at gunpoint while the other three took the cash from the register and ransacked the store office. The four gunmen took a large amount of cash along with firearms before forcing the owner outside at gunpoint and breaking into the owner’s vehicle. The men then left the area on foot toward Schoolhouse Road. The store owner was unharmed, however; he had to walk to a neighbor’s home to call the sheriff’s department. The Simpson County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for any information related to this case.
