Susan Diane Bounds, 69 of Taylorsville, MS passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her residence in Taylorsville, MS. She was born Tuesday, June 14, 1955 in Laurel, Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Taylorsville Methodist Church in Taylorsville, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Taylorsville Methodist Church in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Bro. Tim Beard will officiate. Special music will be performed by Sarah Gorrell and Sue Sherman. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

 Ms. Bounds loved being outside and took great pride in her immaculate home. She adored her cats and enjoyed going out to eat, as well as spending time fishing.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Lettie Phipps; brother, Jimmy Dale Phipps; niece, Lauren Phipps; brother-in-law, Carter Anderson.

 Survivors include her daughter, Georgia Bounds of Taylorsville; brother, Mitchell Phipps (Denise) of Taylorsville; sister, Mary Jo Anderson of Taylorsville; sister-in-law, Donna Phipps of Taylorsville; special friend, Jerry Evans; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 Pallbearers will be Mike Phipps, Mark Phipps, Jeremy Phipps, Branson Sharpley, Mark Quinn, Cameron Phipps, Brady Quinn, and Channing Phipps.
