For your background, here is a link to the Administrative Office of Courts’  announcement last year that the Supreme Court had put the rule proposal out for public comment:https://courts.ms.gov/Newsite2/news/2017/05.23.17class%20action%20public%20comments.php. (The public comment period was extended.) Public comments submitted to the court regarding the proposed Rule 23 amendment may be viewed under Supreme Court docket number 89 R 99001 via a case search on the Mississippi Judiciary website, https://courts.ms.gov.
