Dr. Norman Miller with ASAP answered questions from Supervisors concerning why there was a shortage of ambulances in the county mainly the Harrisville area. ASAP signed a contract for 4 ambulances to be located within the county. Today, there are only three. Dr. Miller stated due to the shortage of employees and no pool to pick employees from was the reason. Dr. Miller stated all ambulance services with the state are suffering the same issues.
