Mississippi National Guard Chaplain Colonel Terry Partain delivered an opening prayer to the state senate on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the invitation of Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann, who guided lawmakers through the day’s agenda after Senator Briggs Hopson led the Pledge of Allegiance.
