In appreciation of teachers for National Teachers Week, Simpson County Superintendent Greg Paes is cooking lunch for all the teachers in Simpson County.

Tuesday, Paes along with Tom McAlpin and Jeffery Walker grilled for Mendenhall High School and elementary . Wednesday, Magee High School and Middle School were served lunch. Next week the crew will feed Simpson Central, Magee Elementary, Mendenhall Jr. High and any remaining locations.

Paes said this was a way to show appreciation for what the teachers of Simpson County encounter each day.
