Busy weekend in Magee! The Mendenhall Tigers and Simpson Cougars are in basketball play offs. The Simpson County Classic which features Mendenhall Tigers, Simpson Academy Cougars, and Magee Trojans will meet head to head at the Sportsplex Friday night beginning at 7:30 and Saturday games are at 11 & 1. The weather is going to be a great for a weekend of baseball. The games will be played at the Sportsplex on the high school baseball field.

Simpson heads to Kirk Academy to take on Hartfield Academy in a march toward a state championship. The game will be live streamed on the Simpson Academy live stream. The link is on the SCA website.

Kevin Meadows has qualified for Alderman-at-Large post. Running for this position vacated by Dale Berry is Paul Arnold, Angel McPhail Brister, and Kevin Meadow. Final date for qualifying for City Elections is Friday at 5 PM on March 3rd.
