Firehouse Subs Coming to Magee!

MAGEE, MS (8/24/26) – Today Firehouse Subs® is pleased to announce a new restaurant in  Mississippi! Magee Hwy 49 is located at 1588 Simpson Hwy 49, Magee, MS 39111. The new  restaurant is owned and operated by Sonya and Brian Busby and Emily and Jacob Upton.  Sonya and Brian are expanding their Firehouse Subs journey with the opening of their second  restaurant, and this time they’re making it a family affair by partnering with their children, Emily  and Jacob. Sonya’s passion for the brand began after trying what she calls “the best sub she ever  had,” inspiring her to bring the Firehouse Subs experience to her own community. “We are  thrilled to have been part of the Firehouse Subs family for the past three years and are  especially excited to bring our hearty, flavorful subs to the Magee community,” said Sonya. “We  can’t wait to welcome our new guests and give back to the local first responders who work  every day to keep this community safe.”  Founded by former firefighter brothers out of Jacksonville, Florida nearly 30 years ago, the  foundation of Firehouse Subs is built upon serving hot, flavorful subs using quality ingredients,  offering exceptional guest service, and commitment to public safety. A proprietary steaming  process unlocks flavor and maintains moisture in every made-to-order, sliced in-house sub,  making signature items like the Hook & Ladder® and Firehouse Meatball fan favorites.    The Magee Hwy 49 restaurant displays décor that reflects the founding family’s decades of fire  and police service with gear and photos donated by local fire departments. It also boasts a  custom, hand-painted mural by Chief Mural Artist Joe Puskas that celebrates Magee’s rich public ...
