Simpson County School District had four Simpson County students participate in the annual Simpson County Chapter of the NAACP event on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Nazareth Baptist Church in Mendenhall, MS. The students competed in an essay contest and presented the welcome for the program. All students who participated in the essay contest received a $50.00 gift card.
