Stephen Marcus Maddox passed away on December 31, 2015, at the age of 56. He was born on April 19, 1959, to Wilbern Hilton Maddox and Otsie Marie (Upton) Maddox.
Steve was a local farmer and reared from an early age in the industry. He, along with his brothers, are known for their dedication of hard work and love of farming.
He is survived by the love of his life, Pam (Davis) Maddox; two sons, Jason Maddox, Justin Maddox (Kayla); one daughter, Tiffany Maddox Blair (Joel); three brothers, Robert Maddox, Sam Maddox, Arnold Maddox; sister, Pansy Maddox; ten grandchildren, Will Maddox, Shelby Maddox, Molly Maddox, Paisley Maddox, Macie Maddox, Keri Vanderford, Zack Vanderford, Lizzie Jones, Jayden Blair and Kayden Blair.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services are scheduled for Sunday, January 3, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel in Magee with interment following in Sharon Cemetery. Bro. Tim Hubbard will officiate.
