Stephanie Dawn Smith, 28 of Braxton, MS passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, May 15, 1997 in Flowood, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church in 5110 Highway 49 Braxton, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church in Braxton, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Braxton City Cemetery in Braxton, Mississippi. Bro. Bradley Powell and Brother Matt Temple will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, David Smith, Sr. and Cletus Blount.

Survivors include her daughter, Aubree Smith of Braxton;  father, Vance Smith, Sr. of Braxton, MS;  mother, Melissa Blount Smith of Braxton;  brother, Vance Smith, Jr. of Braxton;  grandmothers, Dorothy Smith of Braxton and Linda Carolyn Blount (John Sanders) of Mendenhall; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Overflow Church of Magee, Mississippi for the rehab ministry., 601-423-6251
