The Magee Board of Aldermen held a special called meeting on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, to discuss budget issues.
The estimated bid for renovation and expansion of the Magee City Park is $930,000. Bids for playground equipment will go out on September 1. Two separate bids will be accepted. The first will be a bid for the construction of the city’s new pickleball courts. The other is for the new playground and playground equipment.
Building Inspector Kara Lucas resigned.
The board will meet again for a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
