Sis. Mildred Price was born October 7, 1928, to PJ and Mae Hubbard of Magee MS. She passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024, at her residence. Mildred professed her hope in Christ at an early age at Magee First Baptist Church. As a member of First Baptist, she was a devoted usher, actively served on the Pastor’s Aid Committee and worked faithfully in the Mission Department.
She was united in matrimony to S.P. Price. S.P. and Mildred were blessed with nine (9) children whom she loved very much. Her husband, SP Price preceded Mildred in death. Her daughter, Ruby Price, her sons, AJ Price (who died shortly after being born), Jimmy Price, and Melvin Price also preceded her in death.
To cherish her memories, she leaves:
Five (5) children, Essie Gray, Linda Hayes, Carol (Robert) Lofton, Charles (Luvenia) Price, and John Larry (Betty) Price
Three (3) brothers:
Tommie Hubbard, Vernon Hubbard, and Charles Allen Hubbard
Two (2) daughters-in-laws:
Jessie Price and Jackie Price
12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to mourn her passing.
A visitation for friends will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, March 25, at Magee First Baptist Church with interment following in Gregory Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
