Simpson played four games last week against the Jackson Victors and East Rankin Academy.

Jackson Victors Game

Simpson 16 Victors 3-Getting hits for Simpson were Noah Magee a homerun, a double and 2 RBi’s, Lawton Kennedy two singles and 2 RBI’s, Hooks Harvey a single and a RBI, Bowen Kelly a single and 2 RBI’s, Mason Kennedy a single and 2 RBI’s, Andrew Smith a single and a RBI, Morgan Leonard a RBI, and Matt Mangum a RBI.
Pitching for Simpson was Seth Cooper 4 innings with 4 strikeouts. The win improved Simpson’s record to 13-4 on the season.

East Rankin Academy Game 1

Simpson 5 East Rankin 0-Getting hits for Simpson were Lawton Kennedy two singles and a RBI, Caleb Garner a double and 2 RBI’s, Hooks Harvey a double and 2 RBI’s, and Noah Nagee a single.
Pitching for Simpson was Caleb Garner 7 innings with 11 strikeouts. The win improved Simpson’s record to 3-1 in district play and 14-4 on the season.

East Rankin Academy Game 2

Simpson 12 East Rankin 1-Getting hits for Simpson were Brentley Berry two singles and 2 RBI’s, Hooks Harvey two singles, Bowen Kelly a single, Lawton Kennedy a single and a RBI, Morgan Leonard a double and a RBI, Noah Magee a grand slam homerun and 4 RBI’s, and Caleb Garner 2 RBI’s.

Pitching for Simpson was John Cole Giordano 5 innings with 8 strikeouts. The win improved Simpson’s record to 4-1 in district play and 15-4 on the season.

East Rankin Academy Game 3

Simpson 5 East Rankin 0-Getting hits for Simpson were Hooks Harvey a double and two singles, Caleb Garner a triple, a single, and 2 RBI’s, Lawton Kennedy two singles and a RBI, Noah Magee two doubles and a RBI, and Andrew Smith a double.
Pitching for Simpson were Mason Kennedy 6.1 innings with 6 strikeouts and Noah Magee 0.2 innings with 2 strikeouts. The win improved Simpson’s record to 5-1 in district play and 16-4 on the season.

JV Games

Simpson defeated the Jackson Victors 12-0 and East Rankin Academy 13-0.

Simpson will host Lamar School Thursday, April 11, in a varsity doubleheader starting at 4:00 p.m. The Cougars will host Silliman Institute on Tuesday, April 16, with the JV starting at 4:30 p.m. followed by the varsity.
