Simpson County Welcomes RealPure Bottling, Inc. to Magee. A reception with guest Speaker, Governor Phil Bryant, was held Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the manufacturing plant in Magee. A large number of citizens were in attendance for the ceremony. Co-Lin and Simpson County Technical Center were able to bring students to tour plant.
Dr. Ronnie Neetles, Presdient Copiah Lincoln Community College, spoke about the community impact on being a Work Ready Community.
Ian Cowart, Chamber President, presented RealPure with a certificate from the Chamber.
RealPure is a significant addition to the Simpson County business community. Mr. Kane Richmond, CEO, projects a total investment of over $19 million and the ultimate creation of over 35 new jobs. RealPure Bottling, Inc. joins one of the largest family owned private label bottled water groups on the East Coast. They provide high quality bottled water products with innovative label designs to corporations and non-profits from New York to Texas. In addition to bottle manufacturing, they produce a variety of water products: steam distilled, purified, drinking, and spring.
The Richmond family owns four water bottling facilities: RealPure which is located in Magee, MS, Silver Springs, located in Silver Springs, FL and serves as home office, Hickory Springs Bottling, located in Elloree, South Carolina, and Crossroads Beverage Group located in Reading, PA.
RealPure Bottling, Inc. bottles spring, distilled, and purified water. Magee bottling plant produces gallon, 10 oz, 12 oz, and half-liter water in different case configuration.
A newly installed line has the capability of producing 900 bottles of water per minute. RealPure blows plastic bottles from preforms that are used in production.
