Simpson County Technical Center is featuring their Construction Trades Program.
Pictured (left to right) are second year students Romanuel Barber, Austin Clark, Maurice Bryant – Instructor, Andrew Smith, Bryce Jensen, Jacob Harvey and Stephen Berry. Mr. Bryant is demonstrating to students how to lay a plat-form floor system and then square it up during a carpentry project.
The Construction & Carpentry Trades Program is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in construction or a career related to the construction industry. Students in the program have the option of joining SkillsUSA, the student organization for career and technical students enrolled in this program. Mr. Bryant is the SkillsUSA advisor for this program.
