The three escaped inmates from the Simpson County Jail are still on the run. A sighting was made at Fred’s in Mendenhall Wednesday of one of the inmates attempting to get cash from an ATM machine. The inmate had an ATM card…no information if he was successful in obtaining cash.
The search has been off highway 49 and highway 13 which is a heavily wooded area in the Mendenhall/D’Lo part of the county.
Law officials from all over the state have joined the man hunt.
