Due to the Cougars of Simpson Academy advancing to the Over All State Play off Saturday afternoon at MC, the Simpson County Classic has been canceled. Baseball games between Magee, Mendenhall, and Simpson were scheduled to be played at Cougar field Saturday.
Mendenhall and Magee will still play Saturday beginning at 1 at Trojan Field.
Personally, I hope the Simpson County Classic can take place at a later date! The three county teams competing was a great idea!
