Simpson Academy has announced the hiring of Todd Mangum for the position of Head Coach.
Coach Mangum and part of his family visited Simpson Friday. Coach was meeting with the football team around 11:00 AM Friday, January 8, 2021. Wife Kim, daughter Natalie and grandson Carter met the SCA family. Son Will is a student at Ole Miss.
Both Todd and Kim have ties to Simpson and Smith County. Todd grew up in Mt Olive and Kim in Magee. Todd’s mother still lives in the Mt Olive area. Kim’s mother lives in Magee.
