With the pageantry of Homecoming 2020, the Simpson Cougars defeated Winston Academy 47-7 before a large crowd at Cougar Field.  Bayleigh Grace Munn was crowed Queen.

In a non-district game the Simpson County Academy Cougars crushed the Winston Academy Patriots on a Homecoming night.

The non-league game, the Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) football team smashed the visiting Winston Academy Patriots (Louisville, MS), by a score of 47-7.
