Earlier Tuesday, September 15, 2026, a body was found in the trunk of a white Nissan Sentra on Goshen Road outside of Magee.
According to people familiar with the scene, blood was visible on the roof of the vehicle along with what appeared to be muddy handprints. Cell phones were also reportedly recovered from inside the vehicle.
The Simpson County Sheriff’s Department is in charge of the investigation.
