Congratulations to Shenika Kendrick of Mendenhall, MS has recently become recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at the University of Southern Mississippi. Sigma Alpha Lambda is a national leadership and honors organization dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunities for community service, personal development, and lifelong professional fulfillment.
Shenika, a Magee High class of 1999 graduate, is the daughter of Clarence and Aquila Kendrick. She is pursuing a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) in Higher Education Administration at USM.
Shenika is currently a second grade teacher at McLaurin Elementary in Florence and an adjunct instructor at Co-Lin’s Simpson branch.
She is the mother of two boys, Landon 13 and Keeston 4.
