The Simpson County Board of Supervisors Meeting Highlights

Simpson County resident Shawn Wildman addressed the Simpson County Board of Supervisors regarding ongoing issues with Hidden Acres Lane. Wildman stated that residents along the road, which a private road, are open to any solution that could improve road conditions. Board President Wayne Womack explained that the board is following an established process to address the situation. “The process is slow, but it is one we must follow,” Womack said. County Attorney Danny Welch added that a pipeline runs through the back of the area and that the pipeline company largely controls what work can and cannot be done.
