Lion Lee Maddox hosted Senator Brian Rhodes as the guest speaker for the February 9, 2026, Magee  Lions Club meeting.  .Brian Rhodes is a lifelong resident of Rankin County, Mississippi. He was born in Jackson and attended East Rankin Academy and Mississippi State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree. He is a third-generation farmer, managing a cattle and poultry operation alongside his wife, Ashley Laird, with whom he has three children: Lucy, Anna Belle, and Casper.   Rhodes is a Republican member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing District 36 

 

Lion John Mark Williams was recognized for 30 years of service as a member of the Lions Club.
