The Republican Women of Simpson County gathered Monday evening, April 27, 2026, for their quarterly meeting. The meeting was held at Jose’s.
During the program, student Wilkes Berry, who recently served as a Senate page, shared highlights from his time at the Capitol, offering members a firsthand look at the legislative process.

Representative Noah Sanford also addressed the group, providing an overview of the recent legislative session and discussing key issues that may be considered in the future.

Members described the program as both informative and engaging, gaining valuable insight into state government and upcoming legislative matters.
The next club meeting is on May 7th at the E911 building in Mendenhall. Former Speaker of the House Philip Gunn is the scheduled speaker. The
meeting will begin at 11:00 AM. The public is invited.
