SCTC Holds Fall Advisory Committee Meetings

Simpson County Technical Center (SCTC) recently held its Fall Advisory Committees Meeting, hosting a wide-array of industry professionals representative of its Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.

The committee members, consisting of local and nearby employers, Simpson County School District staff, and notable community members in their own fields of work, formed groups  to include: directors, student services and counseling, health sciences, health informatics, and construction, diesel and metal fabrication. Together, the committees advised educators and administrators at SCTC on the development, implementation, evaluation and revision of the center’s CTE program to ensure they are tailored to meet the workforce development needs of the community.
