Simpson County School District (SCSD) invites all community members to participate in a P-16 Community Engagement Council training, scheduled for Monday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m., at the district office.

Open to current and prospective members, the training will discuss the roles and responsibilities of the P-16 Council and plans for its future.

 

Designed to help SCSD better serve its students, schools and community, the P-16 Council is a broad and diverse community-based, community-led assemblage of parents, students and other education stakeholders, charged with the responsibility to work together with educators to create a quality, first-rate healthy school district and community.
