Open to current and prospective members, the training will discuss the roles and responsibilities of the P-16 Council and plans for its future.

Designed to help SCSD better serve its students, schools and community, the P-16 Council is a broad and diverse community-based, community-led assemblage of parents, students and other education stakeholders, charged with the responsibility to work together with educators to create a quality, first-rate healthy school district and community.

For more information about SCSD’s P-16 Council or membership, contact Misty Hanna, director of federal programs, at 601-847-8000.
