SCS Beta Club Volunteers with Salvation Army during Holiday Season
The Simpson Central School (SCS) Beta Club had a busy month giving back to the community during the holiday season.
In December, the SCS Beta Club adopted five angels through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program and purchased Christmas presents for all of them. With the help of other SCS families, the students were able to donate many additional toys.
On Saturday, Dec. 17, SCS Beta members also volunteered to ring the bell for the Salvation Army at the Walmart in Magee. This is the second year the club has participated in this community service event.
