JACKSON, Miss. (March 22, 2024) – Braden Overby of Mendenhall recently served as a page for the Mississippi House of Representatives.  Pages generally run errands for officials and House staff.

Overby, 17, is the son of Sarah and Paul Overby, and he is a junior at Simpson County Academy. He was sponsored for the week by Speaker of the House Jason White (R – West).

When asked about his week at the Capitol, Overby said, “I have enjoyed my time paging this week for the Mississippi House of Representatives. Thank you, Speaker White, for sponsoring me this session.”
