SCA Junior and Softball standout Maddie Moody has committed to continue her softball career at the University of Southern Mississippi. Maddie has been a staple and key component to the SCA softball program. Maddie batted .512 this past season with 3 Homeruns and has been a Key contributor to the success of the Simpson Softball program!
Coach Evans stated:
“I have had the opportunity to coach Maddie since she was a 7th grader and have seen first hand how hard she has worked to make her dreams come true and couldn’t be more proud of her. I know that Southern Miss is not only getting a very good softball player in Maddie, but they are getting a great person and one of the best competitors that I have ever had the privilege to coach. I am looking forward to the opportunity to coach Maddie one more season and excited to see what her future holds.”
Maddie is the daughter of Jackie and Kade Moody.
