Congratulations to the Simpson Academy Cougar Golf Team for winning the AAA South State Tournament by 15 stroke on a challenging day…including a 30 minute downpour as play continued. Senior Jacob Berry won his third straight South State Medalist award by shooting 75, featuring a 1 under par 35 on the back nine.
The AAA State Tourney is next Monday, May 9th at The Refuge.
Team members are: Jake Berry, Jacob Holbrook, Ethan Brewer, Zach Holbrook, Logan Barnard and Joseph Berry. Coach is Nathan Crace
