SCA Coach Crain chosen  MAISCA Coach of the Year

The “Crain Train” rolls again!!! James Crain, head boys basketball coach at Simpson Academy, was named Coach of the Year by the MAISCA at the yearly coaches basketball state clinic.

Stephen Force, MRA, was chosen Division I AAA girls basketball coach of the year. Craig Whittington, University of Academy of Cenla, was chosen Division A girls basketball Coach of the year. Marshall Academy boys basketball coach, Craig Dailey was chosen boys coach of the year in Division A. James Crain, Simpson Academy boys AA coach received this honor and Rod Delaney of East Rankin Academy, girls basketball, Division II AAA was named Coach of the Year in his division.

Coach Crain took the SCA team to the top during the 2014- 2015 season.
