Art teacher Nona Lee took her Simpson Academy Senior Art Students to the Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson. The educational trip was taken on Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
The traveling exhibit “When Modern Art Was Contemporary” featured works by well-known artist Jackson Pollock, Georgia O’Keeffe, Jacob Lawrence, Alexander Calder,
Horace Pippin, Romare Bearden, Willem De Kooning, and selections by many other artists from the Roy R. Neuberger Collection, New York.
