Sandra Logan Russell, 69, departed this world into the arms of her loving Father on February 15, 2018.

She was welcomed into her heavenly home by her parents, Jesse and Bertha McMillan Logan, her son, Christopher Russell, her brother, James Padgett, and a host of relatives and friends.

Sandra passed away at Forrest General Hospital from complications of diabetes, following a lengthy residence at Arrington Living Center in Collins, MS.

She is survived by her niece, Tracey Padgett Riddenbos (Jim), Papaw, Michigan; three nephews, Eric, Justin and Everett; her aunt, Sue Nell McMillan, Mendenhall, and her uncle Don McMillan, Richland; her special friend, Waymon Watkins, of McComb, and a host of loving cousins and friends.

Sandra served in Rural Insurance Agency of Mississippi Farm Bureau from 1969 until her retirement in 2004.

As a member of First Baptist Church of Mendenhall, and the Love Sunday school class, Sandra especially enjoyed the company of her longtime friend and class member, Barbara Boone.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, Mendenhall, with services on Monday, February 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel followed by Interment at Mendenhall City Cemetery, Rev. Rodney Anderson officiating.
