Sandra Kay Layton, 71, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Magee General Hospital. She was born Friday, December 9, 1949.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. The Burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery. Bro. Mack Harrison and Bro. Andy Boles will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Layton; parents, Willie B. and Louise Cockrell.

Survivors include her three children, Darrell Layton (Regina) of Magee, Denise Coker (Randy) of Magee (Daughter), and Chris Layton Sr. (April) of Magee; grandchildren, Aaron Layton, Chris Layton Jr., Austin Layton (Breannan), Bethanie Sullivan (Wesley), Kaitlyn Layton; great-grandchildren, Russel Broussard and Creed Layton; sister, Willie Faye Little; brothers,  Larry Ray Cockrell (Joan), Paul Douglas Cockrell (Janice), Malcom Junior Cockrell (Cindy); sister, Shirley Elaine Webster.

Pallbearers will be Chris Layton, Jr., Billy Carl Eubanks, Emil Knight, Ronald Little, Aaron Layton, Austin Layton, and Tim Earley
