Good luck to the new Rising Stars teams. Travel baseball is a much bigger commitment than what many of these kids have done in T-ball and rec leagues.

Parents and coaches, please keep these young kids’ love for the amazing game of baseball intact, and don’t wear out their arms. Over 50% of Tommy John surgeries in the past several years are for younger athletes (19-25) who have worn out their arms, many of them being injured playing travel baseball.
