Ruth Jean Hodge passed away on December 28, 2022. She was born on April 20, 1938, to Albert Fordie Nichols and Bernice Davis Nichols.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla Hodge Allen (Mike); brother, Billy Dale Nichols; sister, Ruby Dortch (Harvey); grandchildren, Scott Allen, Brad Allen; great-grandchildren, Rebekah Allen, Micah Allen, Katlyn Allen Brewer (Allen), Hayden Allen (Lindsey), Walker Allen; great-great-grandchildren, Juliet Allen, Christapher Ace Allen; honor daughters, Michelle Malette, Julie Malette Garner (Keith), Michelle Morgan, Marcie Barrentine (Brock), and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Bernice Nichols; husband, W.C. “Dub” Hodge; brothers, Jimmy Dale Nichols, Frankie Mae Nichols; sister, Judy Rankin; and great-grandchild, Allyson Allen.
Visitation will be held at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Tutor Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Womack Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
