Roy V Robertson, 84, of Raleigh, Mississippi, passed from this life Thursday at St. Dominic Hospital.

He was born Monday, June 25, 1934.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1:00pm until service time at White Oak Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at White Oak Baptist Church. The Burial will follow in White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

Roy Robertson was a member of White Oak Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School teacher and deacon.  He was a member of Gideon International and he served our country as an Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ethel and Minnie Robertson and sister, Irene Barrett.

Survivors include wife of 60 years Nelner Robertson; Children: Stanley Robertson and wife Kim, Regina Holt and husband Tim, Gregory Robertson and wife Anita, and Karon Dick and husband Christopher; Grandchildren: Cassie Holder, Suzanne Vickers, Candice Shoemaker, Katherine Robertson, Stephen Robertson, Adrian Jenkins, Olivia Dick, Kerri Holt, Carolyn Robertson, Jamie Robertson, and David Lawson Dick; Three great-grandchildren; and Aunt: Tiny Ferguson.

Serving as pallbearers are his grandchildren.  Honorary pallbearers are the Jody Dukes Sunday School class.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons International 2771 Old Canton Rd, Jackson, MS 39216.
