Rose Sullivan Huff, Magee, MS
Rose Sullivan Huff passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Forrest General Hospital. She was born on February 7, 1938, to the late Albert Joseph Pilie Sr. and Gertrude Lotz in New Orleans, LA. She just celebrated her 81 birthday.
Rose retired from working at WalMart in Magee, where she made many lifelong friendships. She never met a stranger and if you ever met her you’d remember her. She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them. She attended Puckett Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Jack Sullivan Jr. (Katie), Jeffrey Sullivan; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Sullivan Sr. and William Horace Huff; brothers, Albert J. Pilie, Jr., Joseph Pilie and sister, Gayle Encardes.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am, on Saturday, February 16, at Tutor Funeral Home with interment following in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Mendenhall.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
