Ronald served his country in the United States Army.
Ronald F Merritt was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Ruby Merritt; wife, Jessie (Wright) Merritt; sons, Farrell Steed and Charles “Charlie” Bradshaw.
He is survived by his sons, Mark Merritt (Tammy); Richard Iser,James Bradshaw (Jan), Dennis Steed (Lynn), Wayne Steed; daughters, Tami Biddington, Jenice Melton; brothers, Roger Merritt (Evelyn), Jeff Merritt (Joyce); sisters, Sandra Lopez (Ray), Doreen Sockel (Rick); a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Athens Cemetery, Mendenhall, MS. Brother John Coleman will officiate the service.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor funeral Home of Mendenhall.
