Robert Lowry Means, age 83, passed away on November 9, 2021. He was born to Tom and Laurene (Graves) Means on June 23, 1938.

Robert Means was a lifelong resident of Puckett, MS, a member of Puckett Baptist Church, and one-of- a-kind pillar to the community. He was loved, adored, and respected by all who knew him. Robert was strong, wise, intelligent, humble, witty, and kind. He established Means House Moving in 1962, and spent most of his career as a house mover. In addition, he was an electrician, a welder, a carpenter, and craftsman. Robert was a faithful servant of God; he honored his church and community with generosity, service and love.
He is survived by two sons, Todd Means, Michael Means; granddaughter, Cassie Means Long; great-granddaughter Kennedy Jane Long; brothers, Ronnie Means, Stanley Means and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda (Kennedy) Means, his parents, Tom and Laurene Means, sister, June Means Everett, and brothers, John Calvin, Decovin, and Dan Means.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Puckett Baptist Church, 6400 Highway 18, Puckett, MS, Friday, November 12, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Funeral services will be held on November 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Puckett Baptist Church with Bro. Alvin Doyle and Bro. Grant McElveen officiating. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
