Robert (Danny) Daniel Runnels, 70 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Friday, November 7, 2025 at his residence in Magee, MS. He was born Wednesday, June 1, 1955 in Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, MS.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

 Mr. Runnels loved working on vehicles and spending time outdoors, he cherished his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family. His absence will be deeply felt by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney Runnels, Jr. and Ora Nell Wallace; brother, Gerald Jeffery Runnels.

 Survivors include his daughter, Jasmine Massey (Chris); grandchildren, Christopher Runnels, Jade Bryant and Brandon Fernald (Madison); great grandchildren, Oaklynn Fernald, Katalina Fernald, Jaxon Runnels and Kade Hoye; sisters, Jackie Runnels Thompson and Synthia Dianne Hylender (Timmy); and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Runnels, Christopher Runnels, Brandon Fernald, and Dustin Harrison.
