Richard Burch, 63 of Mize, Mississippi passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Myrtles Nursing Center in Columbia, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, January 6, 1960 in Collins, Mississippi.

Mr. Richard loved his family and spending time with his children, especially if it meant he got to go on vacation. He always made sure everyone was well taken care of. His favorite pastime was playing golf. He was an adept basketball player at Mize High School and then later on at Jones County Junior College. He then attended Ole Miss where he graduated. He loved cheering on the Rebels, watching westerns, and Star Trek. He put God before everyone else and magnified it to his family, teaching them the principles of being a real Christian. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delmas Burch; mother, Troylene McDaniel Burch; brother, Mark Delmas Burch; grandchild, Chloe Denise Harrell.
