Rhonda James Vanderford passed away on June 10, 2022, at her residence. She was born to Arthur Bracy James and Betty Joyce (Smith) James on July 11, 1960.
She was a retired business owner. She had a passion for dolling up her nieces, especially when it came to homecoming, prom and pageants. She enjoyed playing the piano. She had a huge softness for animals. She adored her granddaughters and making smores with them was something special they did. Above all else, her family meant more to her than anything. Heaven’s gain leaves a void in their lives and will be deeply missed.
Rhonda is survived by her son, Shane Vanderford (Michaela); daughter, Leah Vanderford; grandchildren, Magnolia and Wrenley Vanderford and brother, Arthur James (Gwynn).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Betty Joyce Smith; her husband, Tommy Lee Vanderford and sisters, Sandra James and Melissa Dickerson.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Puckett Baptist Church. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 11:00 am with Bro. Mickey Ferguson, Bro. B.C. Puckett and Bro. Alvin Doyle officiating. Interment will follow at Puckett Cemetery.
