Dear Friends,
On Saturday, April 23, 2016, all Republican Party precinct caucuses and county conventions in Mississippi will be held. This is all part of the process that will ultimately lead to the nomination of our candidate for President. Also, the county conventions will elect an executive committee which will serve a four year term and be the governing body for the County Party. Briefly, it works like this:
1. Precinct Caucuses
A. Meet at regular precinct voting places on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:00AM
B. Elect one delegate and one alternate to attend the county convention later that day
2. County Conventions
A. Meet at County Court House at 3:00PM on same day (April 23, 2016-Saturday)
B. Elect delegates to State Convention
C. Elect County Executive Committee
If you are interested in participating in the Republican Party, this is the opportune time. If you want to be a precinct captain and conduct your precinct caucus, please call me if you live in Simpson County and I will get the necessary papers to you.
