Simpson County Board of Supervisors approved proof of publication for Simpson County Dog Ordinance and publication for Simpson county adopting dog ordinance effective October 3, 2022.

The Road Mangers report was submitted and approved by the board.

Sheriff Paul Mullins requested Justin Brown to be moved from part-time non-certified to full-time certified. The board approved request and approved the Jail Summit food invoice for October.

County Engineer Buddy Woolverton updated the board on all State Aide, LSBP, and county projects.

The board approved the appointment of Wendall James as a special prosecutor in the case of the State of MS vs Dale Berry due to the recusal of County Prosecuting Attorney, Wesley Broadhead.
