Dr. Damon Darsey, MD and others from UMCC met before the Board of Supervisors during their meeting to discuss the ambulance services and make aware the concern of calls from citizens over air ambulance charges. Some patients have received elevated bills from third party air ambulance service. These bills UMCC have no bearing on the price. Darsey wanted to bring that information before the board if they were to receive any calls concerning over pricing. Dr. Darcey advised they are available to assist anyone with anything they could within their means.

MS Hub came before the board asking for a tax reduction for 2017 year. Board advised at this time a tax cut would not be granted. If the company sold and property was assessed at a lower value consideration would be given at that point.

The board approved to continued extension of the Emergency Road Order for Bridge Repairs.
