Rebecca Overstreet Beaty passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at her residence. She was born on November 20, 1967, to Henry M. Overstreet and Jane Sullivan Overstreet.
She enjoyed doing crosswords and Bible puzzles. She also enjoyed listening to just about any music, from gospel to easy listening. Her dogs were her babies, and she took pride in caring for them. But above all else, she loved her family.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jane Overstreet, and children, Jessie McCarty and Ashley McCarty.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Dennis Beaty; sons Hunter McCarty and wife, Morgan, and Gilton McCarty and wife, Lashea; brothers Randy and Terrance; brothers-in-law George Beaty and wife, Joyce and Jackie Smith and wife, Cory; sisters Kathy and Annette; and grandchildren Kaston, Kalli, Kaelyn, and Karoline.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, in the chapel at Tutor Funeral Home, with interment following at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mize, MS.
