A mock wreck was held at Mendenhall High School, Friday, April 5, 2019. The students were able to see what the consequences are when a drunk individual sits behind the steering wheel and a moving motor vehicle while intoxicated, texting while driving, or speeding.

A life of an innocent individual can be taken quickly.

Pictured is Candi McCullum, Candice McCullum, Kayla Butler, Ayesha Sanders, Cameron Magee, Hailey Herrin, Brandon Walker and Anna Tate.

Auto accidents is the leading cause of death among teens 15-20 years of age.

78 teenager lost their lives last year due to speeding, driving under the influence of drugs, distracted driving, drinking and driving, not wearing their seat belts, and texting while driving.

The Grim Reaper visited Mendenhall campus Friday. 78 teenagers lost their lives. What an impact this makes in our homes, schools, communities, and world.

Students — “DON’T” let this be you!!!!!
